My internet access is slow and makes downloading difficult, is there any other way to take HHS classes?
Because of volume, we would request that you always attempt to download your class first. If you are unable to get your files to download, please email us. We have several other options that we can try and will work with you to find the best way to get your class file to you.
Can I share my classes with my friends?
No, we request that you not. By purchasing a class on our site, you agree to our Conditions of Use, which grants you an individual use license. We try very hard to keep our class prices low so that your friends and fellow scrappers can all afford to purchase their own download.
I teach classes at my local store, can I teach HHS classes there?
No, each design and class is copyrighted material and not intended for commercial use. The purchase of our classes entitles the purchaser an individual, noncommercial use. Please contact us for inquiries regarding commercial use agreements.

How do I take a class?
Taking a class at HHS is so easy! Simply register as a customer, choose the classes you would like to purchase, check out through our cart program, and then download your classes.
If your class has a fee, our cart system will take you to PayPal and then bring you back. You must come back to the site for the transaction to be completed.
After completing the checkout process, you will be taken to the following screen, which has the links to click on to download your class.
What does a class include?
We try to keep things very simple with as few bells and whistles possible. We want to make online project instruction affordable and easy. All of our classes include an e-book file that you will download. The file includes a supply list (complete with photos), step-by-step photographed instructions, and templates (as needed).
We want to help you make fun and creative projects; projects that you might make at your local store or at a scrap convention. We know that life is hectic and busy so we want to offer you instructions that will help you make the projects you want to make, but completely on your time table.
You mentioned downloads, do I need a special program to view my class?
Yes, all of our class files are in .pdf format. You will need an Adobe Reader in order to view the download. Don't worry though; most computers have it installed already. If yours doesn't, it is easy to get and free! Simply visit Adobe's site to download it.
Can I print out the class file?
Yes! The Adobe Reader is super easy to use. From the top menu, choose the "File" menu. When you choose "Print" you will get a pop up window that lets you choose from several printing options. A great feature that you may be interested is in printing only certain page numbers. If you would like to print just the supply lists to take shopping with you, you can choose to print only those page numbers
I am trying to view my class on my computer but the print and pictures are too small. Can I make them bigger?
Yes, choose "View" from the top menu bar and adjust the image size as needed.
How long is each class available?
The length of time that each class is available is determined by the instructors. Information regarding the length of availability is listed in each class description. If an instructor decides to change the classes' availability, it will be updated right away in the class listing. When a class closes and becomes no longer available for purchase, the forums will remain open and available.
I only see an option to pay by PayPal. I don't have an account; can I still purchase a class?
Currently, we only accept payment for our classes through PayPal. Paying through PayPal is safe and easy. Because it is integrated with our cart program, you will be able to get your class downloads right away once you have completed payment. When you go through our checkout, the system will take you to PayPal to make your payment, and then return you to our site to retrieve your downloads.
Even if you don't have a PayPal account, you are still able to use PayPal. You can learn more about the service by visiting their site at https://www.paypal.com/.
I can't find where I saved my class on my computer. Can I download it again?
Yes, your downloads remain in your store account for 7 days or 5 downloads, whichever comes first. To access the downloads there, log in to your store account, choose the transaction history for the date you purchased the class(es), and then click on the class title or download button to start the download.
